Erin is a doctoral candidate in Critical Media Studies, specializing in new media and the creative industries. Her work takes a cultural economic approach to digital media phenomena, including digital craft economies, media crowdfunding, socially-mediated marketing and constituency-building, and gendered digital spaces. Other interests include women and sport, art economies, and immaterial labor.
She is currently working on a dissertation on finance narratives in online crowdfunding.
