Michael Houlahan, EdD is the associate director of undergraduate studies in the Department of Psychology. In this role, Dr. Houlahan oversees student services, co-curricular opportunities, and he works collaboratively to enhance the undergraduate curricular experience for students studying psychology. He joined the University of Minnesota community in 2015, and his past work experience was in student housing and academic advising.

Prior to coming to Minnesota, he oversaw operations for a federal U.S. Dept. of Education TRIO (Student Support Services) grant at Oakton Community College (Chicago, Illinois). Through this lens, he maintains a strong desire to support the individual curricular and co-curricular experiences of students. Further, he seeks to promote greater levels of equity, access, and success for all students in Psychology.
