Minor in Economics

Economics is a useful minor for students majoring in business, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, and the social sciences. Students in other areas who are interested in developing their ability to research and analyze data using a wide variety of tools will also find an economics minor very attractive.

Minors are available in six subfields: general, economic theory, econometrics, international trade and development, applied microeconomics and monetary theory. All subfields are designed to complement study in other academic disciplines.
