1. Consult broadly with collegiate community
2. Preserve health and safety of all employees and students
3. Honor all contractual obligations; comply with University and sponsored project regulations
4. Ensure cost efficiencies in instruction while protecting student access to required courses and timely completion of their programs
5. Maintain adequate facilities for research, teaching/ advising
6. Obtain cost efficiencies in administrative staffing and processes
7. Protect collegiate and academic priorities
8. Minimize lay-offs
