Whether you became interested in linguistics because of invented languages, or interested in invented languages because of linguistics — or even if you are just curious in general — this in an opportunity for talking informally and sharing knowledge and passion about this creative application of linguistics by the like of Tolkien, Zamenhof, and countless others... possibly even you!

Presenter: Jean-Philippe Marcotte, Contract Assistant Professor and Director of Graduate Studies, Institute of Linguistics, University of Minnesota.

This event is primarily for undergraduate students, although others are welcome. It is in person only, and pizza will be served. Registration is not required.
