My name is Madalyn McGarry (she/her) and I will be the peer advisor for this academic school year. I am a senior earning my B.S. degree with a major in Sociology LCJ and minors in Spanish and military science. I am currently in Army ROTC and serving in the Minnesota - National Guard. I am planning to continue my education with a master's in forensic psychology with plans to eventually earn my Law degree.

I graduated high school from Jordan, Minnesota; however, I am originally from Anchorage, Alaska. Some of my favorite places and memories stem from my time living in Alaska, and I hope to eventually go back. Outside of my academic work, I enjoy traveling, crafting, and watching movies. Additionally, I love spending time with my friends and family.

As a fellow student, I am so excited for this year as your peer advisor. I look forward to getting to know everyone, and to provide any help and resources that I can. I strive to be a helpful and familiar face to those on campus!
