My work primarily concerns itself with improving the methodology of Microarchaeology. The field of residue analysis is new and exciting, and while we have a lot to learn from ancient proteins, we still have a long ways to go. My goals include innovating methods and researching the basic principles of how residual proteins preserve, particularly in sediments and on the surfaces of lithic artifacts in the Paleolithic.
