Brian C Fischer

Brian Fischer leads the GIS and Web Services sector of Houston Engineering, Inc. He is responsible for providing services in the areas of GIS analysis and mapping, database design, programming, and website development. He also manages the company’s GIS software and monitors new GIS technology. Mr. Fischer has experience in using GIS for project management, web GIS, decision support systems, watershed delineation, hydraulic analysis, flood plain mapping, wellhead protection, water resource management, environmental studies, engineering studies, hydraulic and hydrology modeling, LIDAR collection/processing, parcel mapping, rural addressing, E911 and redistricting. His technical expertise includes wide-ranging experience with GIS software (e.g., in-depth ArcGIS experience, Post GIS, LP 360, Mapserver), GPS, computer programming languages, web design and development, NT and UNIX operating systems and database management.
