Len Mitsch started teaching Adverising Strategy and Creative Development (JOUR 3241) as an adjunct Professor in 2010. He became a full-time Teaching Specialist in 2016 and now teaches Advertising Portfolio Development (JOUR 4242) as well as 3241. Len brings over 30 years of experience as a Twin Cities advertising agency art director, then creative director to his class lectures, assignments and critiques. Ad agencies include: Paragon, Martin/Williams and Risdall Marketing Group. He has created ad campaigns for Totino’s Pizza, MerCruiser Motors, Midway National Bank, Camp Snoopy at Mall of America, Valley Fair, Baker’s Square Restaurants, Barrel O’Fun Potato Chips, Westlaw Legal Research, Kemps Ice Cream and numerous divisions of 3M.
