Earl E. McDowell (Professor) (Ph.D. Speech Communication, University of Nebraska) conducts research in employment cycle interviewing, including employment, appraisal, disciplinary and exit interviews. His present project is focusing on historical events leading to federal gun control legislation. He teaches courses in interviewing and research in scientific and technical communication. Professor McDowell is currently retired.
