Andrea currently teaches 3422 Interviewing and Communication, 3411 Small Group Communication, and the Internship for Academic Credit 3896. In addition to her teaching responsibilities at the University of Minnesota, she is the adviser for the undergraduate Communication Studies Association.

Andrea received her M.A. in Communications from Bethel University in 2008, and her B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota in 2003. Her main academic interests are public speaking, small group, workplace, organizational, interpersonal, and generational communication studies.
