I am a political science Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota, where I work on the comparative political economy of development and the politics of education. My dissertation project looks to uncover the political determinants of education system reform in developing countries, with attention to party politics and the role played by international factors, such as diffusion. In addition, I am involved in a series of quantitative projects that assess the reliability of existing data. I also had the pleasure of serving as Managing Editor for Comparative Political Studies from 2016-2018, edited by David Samuels and Ben Ansell. For more information, please visit my website.
