I am a political science Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota, where I work on the comparative political economy of development. My dissertation project looks to uncover the political determinants of education system reform in developing countries, with attention to the role played by international factors, including international networks and comparative testing initiatives. In addition, I am involved in a series of quantitative projects that assess the reliability of existing data. I also have the pleasure of serving as Managing Editor for Comparative Political Studies, edited by David Samuels and Ben Ansell.
