Ashton Dunkley

Ashton Dunkley attended Temple University where she double-majored in History and Anthropology and earned a minor in Italian. She is fascinated by the intersections between race, authenticity, and historical memory as well as their roles in the lives of Native communities within the mid-Atlantic region, particularly the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape. Her interest in the area comes from the fact that she is from the state of Delaware and is an enrolled member of Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Nation of New Jersey.
