Hilary Abe

As an undergraduate, Hilary Abe (B.A. Dartmouth College) majored in Native American Studies, with a concentration in Film Studies. His research interests lay at the intersections of indigeneity, language, gender and sexuality and how those junctures relate to narrative-making, education and sovereignty within Indigenous communities, with particular regard for his home community of Fort Berthold, North Dakota. Hilary currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota and came of age in Northern Arizona by way of his mixed-Indigenous/mixed-race parentage.
