Jonnelle Walker (FDL Ojibwe) is an American Studies PhD student at the University of Minnesota focusing on the relationship between stories and Indigenous understandings of place. Focusing primarily on Gibiskiisiing Miinis and Misaabekong, their work centers the importance of informal learning spaces and stories and everyday teachings from relatives, community members, and other Indigenous theorists across time, place, worlds, and space.
