Christina Michelon Awarded 2017 Luce/ACLS Dissertation Fellowship in American Art

The Department of Art History is pleased to annouce that Christina Michelon is the recipient of the 2017 Luce/ACLS Dissertation Fellowship in American Art, which is supported by a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation. Christina is a doctoral candidate in the department and was selected for her promising research in object- and image-based US art history. Christina's dissertation titled "Interior Impressions: Printed Material in the Nineteenth-Century American Home" considers the medium of print and its impact on the American home from 1830 to 1890.
