Gabriel P. Weisberg (1942-2026)

The Department of Art History is very sad to announce the loss of Emeritus Professor Gabriel P. Weisberg who died on February 7, 2026. Professor Weisberg taught art history at the University of Minnesota from 1985 until his retirement in 2017. More information about his life and career can be found in the obituary published in the Minnesota Star Tribune.
