We Are Liberal Arts: Liza Sylvestre

When Liza Sylvestre (art ‘06) set out to study art, she chose CLA because its place in the larger university would allow her to explore other disciplines as well. Now, as someone who relies on a cochlear implant as well as an artist who uses sensory experience as a medium, Sylvestre is interested in bringing awareness to preconceived notions about disabilities. She is grateful for the breadth and depth of knowledge that she gained through CLA.
