Flagship Students Score Big

September 26, 2016

Students helping other students. Chinese Flagship students in the 2016 summer study abroad programs in Beijing and Taiwan garnered 38 scholarships and awards from various organizations to support their study of advanced Chinese. This is an amazing accomplishment for 17 students! This boon in outside awards meant that our federal Student Support awards could be used more efficiently, so all of our students have benefited from this tremendous accomplishment. See list of awards below.

Students receiving these awards came from five colleges at the University: Carlson School of Management, College of Biological Sciences, College of Education and Human Development, College of Liberal Arts, and College of Science and Engineering. This is a clear demonstration of the wide range of students who are participating in the University’s Chinese Flagship Program.
