Graphic Designer

Graphic Designers provide visual communications services for The College of Liberal Arts and external clientele. In the past, Backpack has worked with clients like Faribault Woolen Mill, The Toaster Innovation Hub, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, and ServeMinnesota. Content Creator

Content creators (CCs) are assigned to work with one or more CLA departments. They provide communications services for their department, including writing feature articles for these departments that are shared through their websites, e-newsletters, and social media. Account Manager

The account manager oversees the management of external clients. They communicate with the clients and initiate/plan out campaigns and projects. They also participate in the creation of new business presentations, working with the account director and business development director. Reports to Backpack’s Account Director. Business Development Director

The business development director oversees securing new external business relationships for Backpack, working to identify new business opportunities, prepare agency marketing materials, manage outreach to external agencies, prepare new business presentations and manage the transition of new clients to the agency before they are turned over to the account management team. Web Content Editor

This position will provide an opportunity to learn skills in writing for websites, designing accessible web pages, content management and content strategy, customer service, using a content management system, training others to use the content management system, creating training materials, creating mass emails using industry-standard mass email software.
