Many people take significant time off between undergrad and law school, and it never seems to hurt to have more experience.

Rank and reputation, fit with the school culture, and financial aid.

What advice do you have for students/recent alums as they begin the application process?

Make sure to balance what you want in a school and financial concerns. It’s one thing to try to find a job, it’s another to try to find a job knowing if you can’t, you have no way to pay back six figures in loans.
