I worked for my local public school district as an intercultural specialist and math paraprofessional.

Share one thing you wish you'd known about law school as an undergrad.

I am a first-generation student, and I wish I had known that employers look to your undergrad grades when you apply for your first jobs during law school.

How did you choose your law school?

I chose the University of St. Thomas because it is in Minnesota and because they offered me a generous scholarship.

What advice do you have for students/recent alums as they begin the application process?

Be authentic. You are best at being you. Don't worry about fitting a stereotype. You will stand out by owning your unique personality and experiences.
