Primary Responsibilities
My primary responsibilities at my internship varied from day to day depending on what needed to be done for the day. Most days I would be out in the field filming video of events and stories and interviewing people. Some days I would write digital stories for the web.

How This Internship Complimented Mackenzie’s Studies
My internship has complimented studies in my major by taking skills I learned in the classroom and applying them to real life situations.

Tips for Success
I would tell CLA students to branch out of their comfort zone when looking and applying for an internship. For example, just because you are a marketing major, doesn't mean you have to intern at a marketing firm. There are so many opportunities for a marketing major to thrive in a small business setting in their marketing department or in really any organization.
