WorkArt Applications due February 27

January 24, 2017
The Center for German & European Studies WorkArt fellowship opportunity for summer 2017 is now accepting applications. The WorkArt Fellowship program provides opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students with a strong interest in art to gather valuable work experience in the nonprofit sector at one of Germany’s community-based nonprofit art associations and galleries (Kunstvereine). Selected fellows will receive a $350 travel stipend to work in Germany for a two to four week period between May and August 2017. This opportunity is open to all University of Minnesota students of any major, as well as Minneapolis College of Art and Design students.
Applications are submitted online and via email, and can be accessed here on our website. The due date is Monday, February 27. Students will be notified of their status the week of March 6. Accepted students will participate in an informal interview to match their skills, desires, and date preferences with a Kunstverein in Germany. Detailed program information is also available on our website.
