DAAD Grant Launch & Reception

Faculty from the University of Minnesota and beyond are invited to join the CGES for a reception and discussion of DAAD funding opportunities in 2026 and 2027. Drinks & snacks will be available.

This reception will coincide with the launch of the Center for German and European Studies next cycle (2026-2027) of funding for DAAD funded faculty projects. Past projects have included transatlantic seminars, speaker series, immersive courses, and colloquia. The CGES is particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects and working with colleagues who have not previously received DAAD funds. 

The Center will offer a brief presentation on how to submit a proposal including essential criteria and best practices. Please register for this event no later than January 22, 2025.
