Department of Chicano & Latino Studies Awarded NEH Grant

The Department of Chicano and Latino Studies received $60,000 NEH Humanities Collections and Reference Resources grant to support Rhizomes of Mexican American Art since 1848: An Online Portal lead by co-Project Directors, Karen Mary Davalos (UMN) and Constance Cortez (University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley)

The NEH funding lays the groundwork for establishing a web-site that allows audiences to search and discover Mexican American art nationwide.
