CLA Sneak Preview lets you hear from current students, faculty, and staff about what makes the College of Liberal Arts undergraduate experience stand out. High school students and transfer students, along with their families, are invited to join us for some or all of the sessions!
 

1 p.m. – 1:50 p.m.
An Introduction to the College of Liberal Arts

What makes a CLA education so relevant to the current times? What is it like to be part of a community that values fearless inquiry, creativity, empathy, and adaptability? How does studying the liberal arts get you career-ready? We will highlight all of this and more as you are introduced to majors, experiences, opportunities, and outcomes in CLA.

Interactive “See Yourself in CLA” Sessions

2 p.m.
Career Readiness: How the liberal arts prepare you for success

No matter what your major is in CLA, you will develop the exact competencies that employers and graduate programs value most.
2:30 p.m.
For the Greater Good: Ways our students create meaningful change

CLA is home to independent thinkers, innovators, creators, and change agents. Student Board leaders will talk about their activism around mental health.
3 p.m.
A Sense of Belonging for All: How we embrace equity and inclusion

Find out more about how our core values of respect, diversity, and social justice are lived out in CLA, through the eyes of our students.
3:30 p.m.
Studying the Liberal Arts: Ways you will find your purpose and path

Whether you already know your career goals or want to discover where your interests lead, the academic experience in CLA inspires and guides you.

4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Live Q&A

A panel made up of current CLA students, faculty, and staff will answer your live questions about the College of Liberal Arts.
