Scott Meyer founded CLAgency in September 2014 with a three-part focus: to bring needed communications support to the College of Liberal Arts (CLA), build a connection with the professional marketing community, and provide students with experience and opportunity that will lead to rewarding careers in any field they choose.
Our philosophy is that CLAgency is always changing. We constantly build upon what we achieved before. With this in mind, we number each semester to remind us of where we've been and where we're going. 1.0 was the beginning, with nine student content creators working with eight CLA departments. Now, in 5.0, we have nearly quadrupled our team and the number of departments we work with.
We’ve come a long way since the beginning. Visually, our brand has adapted as we have, but our name has remained the same.
