Students in the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Religions and Cultures go on to a number of different professional fields, becoming curators, historians, professors, lawyers, and more. The coursework you pursue provides a great foundation for many areas of interest upon graduation. The careful reading and writing, critical thinking, and communication skills you will gain will become immediately applicable as you enter the workforce.

Experience

In addition, what you do outside of the classroom can improve your confidence, enhance your skills, and build your resume. Therefore, we encourage you to seek out real-world experience through research opportunities, community engagement, and internships to help you feel confident in your decision upon graduation. Students may also gain valuable and relevant skills in Classical and Near Eastern Religions and Cultures by studying abroad.
