The MN Forensic Speaking Team's Excellent Year!

The Minnesota Forensic Speaking Team returned to the department this year and started off strong!
- They finished the year ranking 25th in the nation by the American Forensics Association (AFA)
- Tanner Sunderman was a quarterfinalist in impromptu and extemporaneous speaking
- Myna Sharma, Larranz Guider and ChueChi Kong did well at the national tournament contributing to the top 25 finish
- The parliamentary debate team participated at the Pi Kappa Delta (PKD) National Speech and Debate tournament. The teams competed in the JV division. Bilal Askari and Haley Pierce-Ramsdell were in the final round finishing in second place and Devon Pendergast and Mark Bunday were in the quarterfinal round. Askari qualified to semifinals in open impromptu and the quarterfinal round in open Extemporaneous speaking.
