Recruiting success requires consistent involvement, intentional relationship development, and thoughtful brand building. Candidates (especially students) need to know you and see you. CLA Career Services invites you to connect with CLA students through a variety of ways, including our career management programming.

Career Development Support Opportunities

We offer many opportunities for employers to volunteer and support the career management of CLA students. To express interest in volunteer opportunities for fall and spring semester, contact CLA Employer Engagement.

Share Your Story

Build your brand by being featured in CLA Career Services communications. Share advice and insights with current students through a feature in one of CLA’s eight career field newslettersComplete a brief form to share your employer stories and/or alumni stories. Not all of the prompts are required, and complete only those that are most relevant to you and best address how you'd like to share about your organization. If you are not able to access the form or have already prepared content and/or images you'd like to share, please let us know.

Host a Site Visit

Invite a group of CLA students to your organization for a site visit — in person or virtually — that includes a tour, a presentation, and perhaps even networking with your employees. It’s an excellent way to connect with students, build your brand, and discuss the value of a liberal arts degree and the range of career paths the liberal arts prepares graduates for.

Sponsor a Career Event or Resource

Organization sponsored networking events, on or off campus, in person or virtually. are a great way to build brand awareness. Financial gifts of all sizes benefit CLA students and increase your organization’s name recognition. Speak with an Employer Engagement representative about your goals and interests.
