Featured BA Alumnus: George Fiddler

George Fiddler (BA, SCMC 2008) is an Associate at the Minneapolis-based non-traditional marketing agency Fast Horse. He contributes to several of the firm’s client campaigns in the non-profit sector and in sports, education, health care, and consumer product industries. He regularly blogs on pop culture and marketing topics at Fast Horse’s Idea Peepshow; he is a thought leader in sports marketing, and strategizes new ways to reach his clients’ constituents with social media and content marketing. You can also find him tweetingblogging, and contributing film reviews. A few of the client campaigns he worked on in 2010 include:

  • Sprite – Program to find the best amateur dunker in the country
  • Odwalla – “Campaign Against Ordinary” to give music fans the opportunity to perform at and attend festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands
  • Insight Schools – Integrated campaign to reach students who could benefit from attending an online high school
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield – “do” campaign to promote obesity awareness in Minnesota
  • Coca Cola – “Haiti Hope” project to boost incomes of 25,000 Mango farmers in Haiti
