Congratulations to Newly Elected Economic Theory Fellows
The Department of Economics congratulates Manuel Amador, Cristina Arellano, Marco Bassetto, and Jan Werner, who have been newly elected as Economic Theory Fellows. The election results were just announced by the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory (SAET).
Manuel Amador is the Anne O. Krueger Professor of Economics in our department and a Monetary Advisor at the Minneapolis Fed.
Cristina Arellano and Marco Bassetto are both Monetary Advisors at the Minneapolis Fed. Both are affiliate members of our faculty who regularly teach in our graduate program.
Jan Werner is a Professor of Economics in our department.
We also congratulate newly elected Economic Theory Fellow Dirk Krueger, a Minnesota PhD alum, now at Penn.
According to the SAET, "Economic Theory Fellows are selected for their scientific excellence, originality, and leadership, high ethical standards, and scholarly and creative achievement." More details can be found on the SAET website.
