Natanya Ann Pulley is the author of the short story collection With Teeth, which won the 2018 Many Voices Project competition and was published by New Rivers Press in 2019. A Diné writer, she has published work in numerous journals, and her essays have been widely anthologized (The Diné Reader, Counternarratives from Women of Color Academics, #NotYourPrincess: Voices of Native American Women, Women Write Resistance, Shapes of Native Nonfiction). A book of nonfiction, The First Narcissism, is forthcoming from the University of New Mexico Press.

A former editor of Quarterly West and South Dakota Review, Pulley is the founding editor of Hairstreak Butterfly Review. She is also editing an anthology of flash fiction from Native American writers for UNM Press. She received a PhD from the University of Utah in Fiction. Pulley is an assistant professor of English at Colorado College.
