Kickoff for New Initiative Supporting Asian American Students

Professor Lee is co-lead on project supported by $1.75 million grant

Professor Josephine Lee reports that the Asian American College Excellence (AACE) Project Student Center is now open with undergraduate student tutoring and mentoring services in Wulling Hall, room 430. Co-leads Lee and CEHD Professor Bic Ngo received a $1.75 million, five-year grant from the US Department of Education last year to increase services for Asian American students at the University's Twin Cities campus. AACE will hold an open house at the new student center March 1, 11 am-1 pm, to introduce AACE staff members Kong Her (Program Director) and Peter Limthongviratn (Program Coordinator). All welcome!
