Congratulations to PhD candidates Stephen Ellis and Bomi Jeon (pictured), who have been awarded competitive University-wide fellowships from the Graduate School for 2020-2021! Both fellowships aim to support graduate students as they write and finish their doctoral dissertations.

Ellis received the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship (IDF), which provides a unique opportunity for outstanding PhD students who are engaged in interdisciplinary research to study with faculty at one of the University’s interdisciplinary research centers or institutes. Ellis' advisor is Professor Timothy Brennan.

Jeon received the Graduate School's Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship for the dissertation “Looking through the Everyday: National Space, Time, and Experience in British Fiction and Cinema after 1940.” Professor Siobhan Craig is Jeon's advisor.
