On Friday, April 28, 2017, we held an event to celebrate some of the most exceptional undergraduate students in our college.
Friends and family, staff, and students gathered to recognize undergraduates who participated in experiential learning, research, and served in leadership roles. The Bright Lights program included video vignettes and student speakers highlighting experiences in each area.
Annika Hansen, dance major, performed "Body Home"—an iteration of her senior thesis project and a demonstration of dance as a method of inquiry. A School of Music jazz quartet—Patrick Adkins, Simon Petrick, and Andrew Tomten, and Nick Benish—performed along with the Marching Band Brass Quintet: Chris Gerhardson, Cole Jobin, Devon Osman, Todd Peterson, and Katherine Wilts.
We also cheered our dean's list students and our scholarship winners.
Congratulations to our many talented students!
