Keys to Networking Success
University Recreation and Wellness Center, Beacon Room
The College of Liberal Arts invites CLA students, recent graduates (May 2014 or later), and alumni to an educational networking event.
We are constantly told to “network, network, network!” For some, networking comes naturally. For others, it is hard to know where to begin. During this event, you will learn and practice networking skills like: how to first approach someone, what the proper etiquette is for food and drink, and how to exit a conversation. The last hour of the event will be an open networking period where you can practice your skills.
Cost is FREE. Refreshments provided by French Meadow Bakery Café. All registered students will receive a professional padfolio.
5:00 Welcome & Alumni Introductions
5:15 Networking Practice Sessions
6:00 Open Networking & Warm Appetizers
