Native Artist Talk Featuring: Jim Denomie
Jim Denomie expresses his tribal heritage and Native identity through humorous and critical depictions of United States history. A Minnesota artist, his paintings address colonization, assimilation, white washing, and other violences that the Native population has suffered at the hands of Western European colonizers.
