Congratulations to Abou-Bakar Mamah!

Abou-Bakar Mamah, PhD '18, successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Postdemocracy, Afropolitanism, and Afrofuturism: Literature and Film as Political Engagement in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa" on July 30, 2018. We wish him the best of luck as he moves onto his new position as assistant professor at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee.
