Geog Undergrad published in the Journal of Latin American Geography

former Geog undergrad, Talia Anderson, at work.

Former UMN Geography Undergrad, Talia Anderson, as part of a team, including Geography Faculty member Dan Griffin, produced an article which recently appeared in the Journal of Latin American Geography.    The article,"Climate Sensitivity and Potential Vulnerability of Guatemalan Fir (Abies guatemalensis) Forests in Totonicapán, Guatemala” was published in the April 2018 volume of the magazine.  Even though Talia has moved on; currently she is a Fulbright Scholar at Austral University of Chile, and she is also a MA Candidate in Geography at the University of Arizona in Tucson; her ties to UMN and the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program are referred to. Another accomplishment for the Dendrology group!
