Braun Awarded for Outstanding Contributions to Graduate and Professional Education

Please join us in extending warm congratulations to Professor Bruce Braun, who is is recipient of a 2024-25 Award for Outstanding Contributions to Graduate and Professional Education!
 
This honor is awarded to exceptional candidates who have been nominated by colleges for excellence in graduate and professional education. Those who receive the Graduate and Professional Teaching Award become members of the Academy of Distinguished Teachers (ADT) and receive the title "Distinguished University Teaching Professor."
 
Over the past two-and-half-decades, Braun has made exceptional contributions as advisor, mentor, and teacher to our stellar graduate program. Those who have worked with him will testify to Braun's singular commitment to their wellbeing and development as scholars. Just to give a sense of his contributions since his arrival as an Assistant Professor in 1999, Braun has advised 17 PhD students to completion and served on the doctoral dissertation committees of 42 others. He has also advised 10 MA students and served on 9 additional MA committees.
