In addition to Maria Hofmann's tenure-track position at Wofford College, we have more job placement news to celebrate.

  • Karsten Olson has accepted a position as a Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures at Auburn University (Alabama).
  • Kiley Kost will enjoy another year in Minnesota as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Carleton College in Northfield.
  • Kalani Michell will start as an Assistant Professor of Germanic Languages in a department that will soon become European Languages and Transcultural Studies at the University of California Los Angeles. 
  • Nichole Neuman has accepted a tenure-track offer (Assistant Professor of German and Hoyt-Reichmann Scholar of German-American Studies and German Language and Culture) at IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis), beginning in the next academic year.  In addition, she will be the Director of the Max Kade Center.
  • Meagan Tripp begins her appointment as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of German at Franklin and Marshall College (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) in Fall 2019.
