What are the histories of pride marches in India? What is the location of pride in the Indian queer
movements? How do we read pride marches in the wake of the resurgence of right wing movements
in India? Do conversations on pride marches in India resonate transnationally? Come for this
presentation if you would like a nuanced understanding of queer movements in South Asia. Anyone
interested in social movements is encouraged to attend. (image by Nilanjan Majumder)
