Richa Nagar Recognized

Congratulations to GES affiliate faculty, Professor Richa Nagar.  She has been awarded the 2019 James Blaut Award for Socialist and Critical Geography. This award recognizes a scholar who has made significant contributions to radical geography; promoted activism against oppressive power, both within and outside the academia and bridged radical theory and practice.  Richa will deliver the James Blaut Memorial Lecture in April at this years AAG meeting in Washington DC.  This is a richly deserved honor.  Congratulations Richa.
