Undergraduate History Club

The History Club is an informal space where undergraduate students from the Department of History and beyond can come to share their love for history. Group members participate in a variety of events including tours of local historical attractions in the larger metro area like the James J. Hill House or the Minnesota Historical Society. Club members also take advantage of university resources including tours of the extensive archival collections available at the Bell Library and the Elmer L. Andersen Library. Planning for these events and others takes place at casual weekly meetings where members discuss their mutual or individual historical interests, have a snack, and maybe play a game or two.

This is a very exciting time for the club as we are seeking to expand our outreach by growing our membership and encouraging more academic activities like hosting faculty talks and providing a forum for undergraduates interested in historical study.  If you are passionate about the study of the past, this group would be a great home for you.
