HSJMC Scholarships

Each year, the Hubbard School of Journalism & Mass Communication awards more than 100 scholarships worth nearly $250,000 to HSJMC undergraduate majors and premajors. These scholarships are awarded based upon academic performance; potential for a career in Journalism or Strategic Communication; and, in some instances, financial need.

How do I qualify?

If you are a HSJMC major and you are enrolled full-time, you may apply for an HSJMC scholarship. Awards are for the following academic year and range from $500 to $6,500. Students coded by the College of Liberal Arts as pre-jour may also complete an application to be considered for pre-major scholarships.
