HRW Collaboration

Looking for more information?
Learn more about this collaboration via Professor James Ron.

Each year, a small group of University of Minnesota graduate students from any college, school, or discipline work with Professor James Ron to produce advisory reports on various themes for Human Rights Watch (HRW). Past projects have explored budget analysis, new human rights research methods, and the impacts of HRW advocacy efforts.

Participating graduate students present their findings to HRW staff and directors in New York each May. These projects are sponsored by the Humphrey School for Public Affairs and the Master of Human Rights.
