James W. Nelson Graduate Fellowship

The Department of History and the Immigration History Research Center are pleased to announce the availability of the James W. Nelson Graduate Fellowship in Immigration Studies, made possible by an Endowment Fund in the Immigration History Research Center (IHRC) and the Department of History. The purpose of the fund is to support the work of immigration history taking place in the IHRC and the Department of History.

Eligibility

The fellowship is available to highly-qualified students doing graduate work in the fields of immigration history or the history of race and ethnicity in the Department of History at the University of Minnesota.
