The Founding of the United States and Immigration History

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Featuring specialists in citizenship, borderlands, refugee policy, and the early American republic, this event uses the anniversary as an opportunity to critically assess the place of migration in the creation and early history of the United States.
